Currency Converter Property DescriptionWe are located in Red Bay, Ontario, on the warm water Lake Huron side of the Bruce Peninsula, in the middle and an equal distance from Sauble Beach, Wiarton, and Lions Head. We provide clean casual cottage comfort ambiance and surroundings that differs from Victorian B&Bs and lodge accomodations. Our host quarters are completely seperated from the upstairs six guest bedrooms. Our culinary trained owner involvement in meal preparation ensures we meet any and all individual special dietary restrictions or meal preferences. We are pet free, smoke free, lifestyle and family friendly. We can accomodate up to 23 people overnight, and utilize our 29 seat dining room for groups, receptions, and meetings with optional lunches and dinners provided between September and May inclusive.
An English writer visiting our area in the 1930’s wrote, “The golden white sands along the shore on this side of the peninsula can be compared to the beaches of the Mediterranean, and the islands, coves, and inlets are a natural beauty that holds one spellbound." Slowly but surely the world is discovering this beautiful and enduring place, and discovering what our local Aboriginal people hundreds of years ago knew: that it's a very special place. BreakfastBountiful, fresh, homemade breakfasts can be custom created to your specific dietary needs (if required). We serve freshly roasted coffee and hot specialty teas. See our breakfast page on our website to view the vast variety of breakfasts served to accomodate everyone. At the Haven on the Bay, you don't leave the table hungry. In fact, you may not even be able to eat lunch. If you do somehow happen to leave the table feeling hungry, “it wasn't our fault!”
