Stonehurst Bed & Breakfast is located in the historic town of Fergus, approximately 100 km northwest of Toronto. This 1867 limestone manor is a welcome retreat for the traveler who enjoys a step back in time. The Georgian stone home features dramatic columns accentuated by the recently restored front verandas. Our historic home sits upon a 1/2 acre property boasting beautiful gardens and wonderful shade trees. Relax with a soak in the hot tub or during the summer months, enjoy a dip in the large swimming pool and catch the sunshine on the deck overlooking the yard.

Each day starts with a served full breakfast which includes fresh fruit, fresh baked breads or muffins, and entrees such as Cinnamon Raisin French Toast, Eggs Benedict, special Frittatas or a traditional egg breakfast.

Cancellation Policy:

Due to our intimate size cancellations greatly affect our business. When a reservation is made the room is taken out of availability and we refuse business. When situations arise that necessitate a cancellation, we sympathize, however we adhere to a strict cancellation policy.

During the summer season (June 1 – September 30) Sunday to Thursday we require 72 hours notice of cancellation prior to check-in. For Friday and Saturday arrivals during this time, we require 7 days notice. 48 hours notice is requested during all other times.

All cancellations, including shortened stays, are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Restrictions:

We ask for a minimum 2-night booking during weekends in July and August, as well as all long weekends throughout the year.
